Stages of Curriculum

Stages of Curriculum

No matter which stage your child is in right now, or which type of curriculum you are going for, we have the right expertise to guide you along the way.

Early Years (Ages 3-5)/ Pre-School

Early education can play a critical role during this important developmental period. Research linking early intervention to both cognitive and socio-emotional gains has fueled the proliferation of early childhood programs since the early part of the twentieth century. Typically, students can enrol into British curriculum schools starting at the age of 3. As for students who opt to go for US curriculum, they can start at the age of 4.

Junior/ Elementary School (Ages 5-11)

The role of primary education is to ensure the development of children. This means that all children are able to develop their social, cognitive, cultural, emotional and physical skills to the best of their abilities. This is suitable for students aged 5 to 11.

Secondary Years/ Middle School (Ages 11-16)

Secondary school education allows individuals to further expand on their choices and to develop their personal and work-related skills. It is also at this stage where many international schools offer boarding for young adults.

Typically, we encourage students to opt for boarding, where they could live in a community where learning, personal growth and exploration are top priority, programs and activities are abundant, relating to others is paramount; and where success is celebrated.

Pre-University Levels/ High School (Ages 16 and above)

This crucial stage serves for many as an entry ticket to universities globally. Apart from receiving excellent teaching guidance, support for university application is equally crucial in this stage. It is vital to find a school that cares not merely about academic results, but which also helps to ensure their students’ smooth transition to tertiary institutions.
